The Arts Foundation Choreography Award 2005
Liv was presented with The Arts Foundation Choreography Award 2005 by Guest of Honour Brian Eno at a prestigious event at the Pentagam, Notting Hill, London. The arts foundation was established as an independent trust in 1990 through an anonymous bequest to the arts. The remit of the Trust has been specifically to support talented and emerging artists at a time in their careers when they have shown commitment to, and reached some professional standing in their art form. There were five categories including Choreography; Costume Design; New Media Art; instrumentalist and Curation. Winners received a cheque for a £10,000 bursary giving them the opportunity to explore new avenues or consolidate existing work in order to progress to the next level.
This process will give Liv the time to research deeply into the craft of what her choreographic style is and what it maybe could be. This will be without the pressure of performance, length of work and cumulative desires of a large quantity of performers.
