Davie Rae

Originally from Scotland, Davie first started breakdancing in 1984 and has been living and working in the North East since 1993.

He is a resident artist at DanceCity and has been a freelance choreographer, dancer and teacher as well as running his own dance company, Booyaka Stormforce.

Every month Davie regularly teaches over 1,000 people between the ages of 3 and 70 years. He was a judge at the first Scottish/UK University Breakdance Championships in 2001.

Davie joined the company in 2002 for balletLORENT's award winning production The Ball. He was one of two male dancers in La Vie des Fantasmes Erotiques et Esthetiques, la nuit intime,Angelmoth and the company's most recennt work MaEternal.
