Gavin Coward

Gavin trained at Northern School of Contemporary Dance before joining ARC Dance Company, Apprenticeship Scheme. In 2001, Gavin embarked on a world tour with Adventure in Motion Pictures' 'Swan Lake'.

Alongside working with balletLORENT, Gavin has been working with other companies including Royal Opera, Cassani Dance and Pit Fluer. He has also been artist in residence at Northern School Contemporary Dance to develop his own choreographic work and formed an ensemble, The Core, in collaboration with five other dancers/choreographers. Their first work, Core Blimey, was programmed at Resolution in 2005 and The Core will show a new work at Dance Lab in January 2006.

Gavin joined balletLORENT in 2001 and has been a dancer in many of the company's productions including A L'INSTANCE DE DEVENIR, The Ball, La Vie des Fantasmes Erotiques et Esthetiques, The Ferryman, la nuit intime, Angelmoth and Designer Body.
