Katryn Jackson

Katryn was introduced to dance through Cheshire Dance Workshop, and went on to train at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, graduating in 2001. She completed her Masters Degree at The Place, London, in 2003, and joined Edge at the same time. Since then, Katryn has worked with a range of established and emerging companies including Maresa von Stockert and Tilted Co, Retina Dance Company, Frauke Requardt and Company, Virtual Motion and LoKey Productions.

Most recently she has been working with artists who integrate technology and dance, such as New York based Troika Ranch and Suba Rossa.

Katryn is a founder member of The Core, who premiered Core Blimey at The Robin Howard Theatre in January 2005.

She is currently an Artist in Residence at the NSCD. Along side performing, Katryn has taught extensively throughout the UK.

Katryn joined balletLORENT for la nuit intime, and since then has appeared in Designer Body and MaEternal.
