education

balletLORENT has a long history of inclusivity in its work - right from its inception there has been an integration of community performers choreographed alongside professional dancers. Liv has always had a fascination with individual performance styles and has enjoyed working with an intergenerational cast.

Her first commission, PassAge to Passion in 1996, was to choreograph a full length work on a cast of 80 people, half of whom were under the age of 16 and the other half were over the age of 60. La Famille, Life Stories, Into the Mouth of the Orchid and Strange Glitter were all dance productions that had a diverse cast built of older people and children performing alongside the balletLORENT dancers.

balletLORENT is wishing to expand its educational activity and is interested in talking with partners in putting together future programmes. Should you be interested in discussing educational projects with balletLORENT please contact christine@balletlorent.com.
