Graduating in 2006 with a BA in Journalism Studies, Thomas has enjoyed a varied and interesting career. Initially working as a writer and editor for North East Lifestyle Magazine, he moved into performing arts in 2007, joining legendary Newcastle music venue The Cluny as Assistant Manager. After diversions into TEFL teaching, freelance writing and freelance marketing, he was most recently Contemporary Music Programme Manager at Sage Gateshead. Here he programmed a wide range of largely musical events into Sage’s three performance spaces, as well as overseeing the administration and smooth running of the Contemporary Programming team.
Thomas joined balletLORENT as General Manager in 2021.
