Ticketing Terms & Conditions

When you book a ticket for a performance, class or workshop with balletLORENT, taking place at John Marley Centre*, you agree that the following terms and conditions shall apply to your booking:

  • The information on www.balletlorent.com and enthuse.com is correct at the time of submission. It is your responsibility to ascertain whether a performance/class has been cancelled or rescheduled. We will make all reasonable attempts to promptly notify purchasers of any such cancellation or rescheduling, but make no guarantees in this respect. We reserve the right to make adjustments and alter programmes at any time without notice.
  • All customers must have a valid ticket for any event where a ticket is required for entry. Subject to availability, we may be able to accept on the door sales, via cash or credit/debit card payment.
  • Tickets may be restricted to a maximum number per person and/or per transaction. We reserve the right to cancel tickets purchased in excess of this number without prior notice to the customer.
  • Pricing may be subject to change – tickets will be sold at the current Box Office rate at the time of booking.
  • Carers are entitled to a free ticket, which can be booked via the box office on 0191 233 1811, or via emailing info@balletlorent.com.
  • It is your responsibility to check your tickets as soon as they arrive with you as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
  • We will not be responsible for any tickets that are misplaced or stolen.
  • Handling fees are charged by Enthuse. On occasion, balletLORENT may choose to include these within the face value of any tickets, or they may be added prior to the completion of any transaction. Any fees charged will be clearly stated during the transaction process.
  • From time to time, promotional discounts may be offered. These cannot be applied to tickets already purchased and no discount will be applied retrospectively. Offers and discounts are subject to availability. Only one discount is applicable per ticket unless otherwise stated.
  • If a performance is specifically for families, a ticket needs to be purchased for any person attending a performance, including children under 12 months. For selected non-family performances, babes in arms tickets are available for children under 12 months who do not need their own seat, which are available by phoning us on 0191 233 1811.
  • Only holders of tickets purchased from official balletLORENT ticketing outlets (currently only Enthuse and balletLORENT direct) will be admitted to a performance, workshop or class. If you have bought a ticket from a secondary ticketing website, we do not guarantee entry. If an individual is found to be selling tickets via secondary ticketing channels, balletLORENT reserves the right to cancel the tickets and offer them for resale.
  • No ticket purchases will be refunded except when an event is cancelled, postponed or rescheduled, or where balletLORENT explicitly sets out alternative arrangements, which will be fully communicated to any bookers. Refunds must be requested from your original point of sale. All personal expenses, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, and subsistence arranged by you/your party, are at your own risk and will not be compensated.
  • Tickets may be exchanged for tickets for the same or higher price for an equivalent event up to 24 hours before the booked event. Exchanges are strictly subject to availability.
  • balletLORENT is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for our audiences, artists and staff. Many of our performances are relaxed, and these will be clearly stated as such, either in pre-show advertising, or on the day. During these relaxed performances, audiences are free to come and go as they please.
  • While we will endeavour to be as accommodating as possible, we reserve the right to remove visitors from the premises if they are acting in an intimidating, aggressive or violent manner, or if they are endangering themselves or the people around them.
  • You consent to the filming and sound recording of your participation in any performance or class, as a member of the audience or as a participant. We will endeavour to inform you prior to the commencement of the performance or class if such recording is to take place.
  • Use of photographic, video, sound recording or mobile communications equipment during performances is forbidden. balletLORENT reserves the right to refuse admission to or eject a ticket holder if they are disturbing a performance, or for the safety of other patrons. Please ensure all phones are in silent mode.
  • These booking terms and conditions are governed by English law and subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
  • We may change these terms and conditions from time to time. We recommend that you check for updates regularly.

*For balletLORENT performances outside of John Marley Centre, ticketing will usually be conducted by the respective theatres rather than directly by balletLORENT. In this instance, the terms and conditions of the respective theatres will supersede those listed here. If you are unsure of which terms and conditions apply to your tickets, please contact info@balletlorent.com
