New vacancy: Film Maker & Digital Content Producer

We are seeking a part time Filmmaker & Digital Content Producer to be responsible for the professional film making and creation of digital content, distribution and archive.

Job Role

To be responsible for the professional film making and creation of digital content, distribution and archive.

Support the Marketing & Communications Manager (M&CM) on digital marketing strategy and distribution.

Reports to the Artistic Director & CEO


Key Responsibilities and Duties will include:

Film Maker

  • Film and edit balletLORENT’s productions to create full length films following the direction and ambition from the Artistic Director & CEO.
  • Create digital assets including the making and editing of short films and imagery for the purpose of (but not exclusive to) social media, E-flyers and E-Newsletters.
  • Record podcasts, blogs and interviews for sharing on the company website and other suitable distribution platforms.
  • Create video content for the company’s digital learning and participation projects.


Archive

Create and manage a digital archive on balletLORENT’s website.


Digital/Marketing

  • Support the M&CM to produce digital marketing strategies.
  • Deliver on digital marketing and coordinate release campaigns for films and other content including schedules with the M&CM.
  • Research and document online audiences to support digital distribution.
  • Support the M&CM to produce company marketing packs for theatres on tour.
  • Support the M&CM to research new marketing initiatives for distribution of flyers and posters regionally and nationally.
  • Achieve a good understanding of Arts Council of England Audience Data platform (Illuminate) and use toolkits to inform strategy and support the M&CM to ensure reporting is completed.
  • Support the M&CM to upload content on the company website.

 

Learning & Participation

Share filming skills with balletLORENT’s children and young people’s learning and participation projects.

  • Part-time / 3 days per week
  • Salary: £25,000 p.a. pro rata

  • Entitlement to 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays (Pro Rata)
