Originally from Leicestershire Helen began dancing aged five at her local dance school. Later she joined the Nottingham Centre for Advance Training as well as participating in two shows with Midland Theatre Ballet. She joined the BA course at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, where she worked with Gary Clarke Company, Darshan Singh Bhuller and Jasmin Vardimon Company.
Helen joined balletLORENT as an apprentice dancer for the 2025–26 year through the Professional Performance Practice (PPS) MA scheme at Northern School of Contemporary Dance (NSCD), working with the company as part of her MA in Contemporary Dance Performance.
