Kitty was born in Leeds in 2003 and grew up in Bolton, where she started ballet at the age of five. She started contemporary dance with the Lowry Youth Dance Company in 2015, later joining the Lowry Centre for Advance Training in 2017.
Kitty started training at Northern School of Contemporary Dance in 2021 on CertHE and then the BA course in 2022, and over those four years worked with Jasmin Vardimon Company, Gary Clarke Company, Joseph Mercier, Amaury Lebrun, Imogen Reeve and Anna Williams.
Kitty has now joined balletLorent as an apprentice dancer through Northern School of Contemporary Dances Professional Placement Scheme (PPS) MA.
Apprentice dancers are postgraduate Northern School of Contemporary Dance (NSCD) students, who work with the company as a significant part of their MA in Contemporary Dance Performance course.
