Tassia is 22 years old and was born in Nottingham, where she begun prancing round a studio at the age of 3. She has always had a passion for moving. She trained with the Dance4 CAT Scheme for 5 years before joining the CertHE and then BA course at Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds.
During her time at NSCD, she worked with a range of talented artists, including; Ruby Portus, Carlos Pons Guerra, Joseph Mercier, Imogen Reeve and Joseph Toonga.
Tassia spent a year with balletLORENT as an Apprentice dancer as part of her Postgraduate studies at NSCD and performed in The Velveteen Rabbit, The Becoming, Snow white and Snow White: The Sacrifice.
Apprentice dancers are postgraduate Northern School of Contemporary Dance (NSCD) students, who work with the company as a significant part of their MA in Contemporary Dance Performance course.
