It’s been a busy week at balletLORENT in West Newcastle, with rehearsals for our upcoming tour of Snow White taking place alongside our regular weekly classes. Over 300 people, aged 12 months to 87 years, came through our doors to take part in classes and watch rehearsals in action.

Local schools, including Bridgewater, St Bede’s, and Thomas Bewick, joined in the excitement, along with students from the Northern School of Musical Theatre, giving the community a vibrant taste of dance, movement, and creativity.
Our classes cater to all ages and abilities, from toddlers exploring movement for the first time to adults keeping active and learning new skills. Meanwhile, audiences got a sneak peek at the behind-the-scenes magic of Snow White, highlighting the dedication and artistry of our performers.
This week was a wonderful reminder of the energy, talent, and creativity thriving in our local community, and how balletLORENT provides a space for everyone to learn, move, and be inspired.
