This year, balletLORENT has been privileged to connect deeply with diverse audiences, especially children and young people, through sold-out tours of The Velveteen Rabbit across Edinburgh, London, Manchester, and local venues. Our work has celebrated creativity across generations—from dynamic performances alongside toddlers at the Hatton Gallery, Newcastle, to emotionally rich productions like Snow White and Snow White: The Sacrifice, which captivated audiences with their dark, evocative storytelling.
We continue to expand our reach through innovative partnerships, including streaming our films via Marquee TV, and nurture local talent and community engagement through our Youth Academy and Creative Studio, as well as our Knitters, Movers & Shakers group. Thanks to the unwavering support of our funders and community, balletLORENT remains a welcoming space for artistic growth, collaboration, and belonging in challenging times.
