balletLORENT offers a range of welcoming, feel-good classes each week at our home in the John Marley Centre.
To guarantee your place, we recommend booking and paying online in advance, as class sizes are limited.
Subject to availability, you can also pay on the door by cash or card.
Free parking is available on site.
Creative Ballet
Ballet classes for children to encourage imagination, confidence, and movement.
Saturday
9.30am – 10:15am - ages 4-6 - £5 per class
10:30am – 11:30am - ages 7-11 - £6 per class
(we offer reduced fees for those in receipt of benefits)
These classes are fun, expressive, and welcoming —
with no exams, no uniform, and no pressure.
Just a love of moving and storytelling through dance.
Dance Creative

A 60 minute easy, gentle movement class to music designed for over 40’s to unleash their creative force and discover the joy of moving

For those with a basic knowledge of ballet.
Barre exercises, simple arrangements, and moving throughout the space using classical dance vocabulary.

Knitters, Movers & Shakers
Fridays 11.30am - 1pm - FREE
The group works on wool creations for our productions.
We provide knitting wool, tea, biscuits, and great conversation,
plus a short movement session to music.
*Group is for those aged 60+ and living in the west end of Newcastle.
