Following the success of our fairytale trilogy — Rapunzel, Rumpelstiltskin, and Snow White — balletLORENT returns with a magical new production.

This fresh take on the classic tale combines imaginative storytelling with striking visuals. Featuring nine professional dancers alongside a young community cast, Hansel & Gretel and the Witch is full of energy, wonder, and theatrical delight.

The original fairytale, written for balletLORENT by poet laureate Carol Ann Duffy, brings wit, warmth, and timeless magic to the story.

Once again, the company collaborates with composer Murray Gold, set designer Mayou Trikerioti (lit by Malcolm Rippeth), and costume designer Nazir Mazhar, returning from Snow White with bold new designs.
